Here are a few case studies to illustrate our search engine optimization results:

Virtual Swim Coach

Virtual Swim Coach was the very first project that established Blurose Media. The site was originally created to be a micro-membership site for swimmers to get swimming instruction and swimming workouts. Plans are now in the works to turn the site into a revolutionary platform for swimmers and coaches to interact, track performance and create swimming workouts.

Our SEO efforts didn’t begin until a few months ago with Virtual Swim Coach, but as you can see from the graph below we’ve had quite the spike in traffic (which was already growing steadily). Most of our keyword rankings are in solid page #2 positions with a few first page Google rankings. Over the next few months we should see significant spikes in traffic, just in time for the launch of the new Virtual Swim Coach. Stay Tuned!

Joe’s Stereo

One of our first SEO clients, Joe’s Stereo came to us with a decent SEO foundation for us to build upon. One of the major problems we found upon our initial analysis was the internal linking structure lacked direction, and on-page SEO was almost non-existent. Minor backlinking was helping to give Joe’s Stereo a decent amount of traffic, but we knew there were opportunities that were being missed out on.

We completely redesigned the website and focused on internal linking and on-page search engine optimization. We also started a long-term backlinking campaign that has shown significant results in just 6-months. Search engine traffic is up 108% from when we started, and continues to climb as we focus on new keywords.

The Horsepedia

Also one of our initial search engine optimization projects, The Horsepedia has long been one of our leaders in search traffic generation. When we began work on The Horsepedia, there was virtually no on-page SEO present. Meta titles, descriptions, and tags were missing from the majority of the 170+ blog posts, and internal linking was non-existent.

In multiple stages, we’ve gone over every inch of the site, focusing on on-page SEO and internal linking. The traffic you see below is from on-page search engine optimization only, no backlinking on our part. One thing to note is the drop in traffic a few months ago. We ran into a problem transferring the domain to a new hosting account and the site was down for a few days. As soon as we got it back up and running, we completed our final stage of on-page SEO, and well, we’ll let the graph below speak for itself. Look for a new design website design in 2012, and continued traffic increases.
